Through volunteer support and community contributions of new items and in-kind donations, we aspire to help meet some of the most basic needs of children in Yakima County's dependency system. We strive to help these abused and neglected children regain a sense of value and respect, to empower them for their future.
From its inception, Voices for Children Foundation has collaborated as community partners with the Yakima Juvenile Courts and the CASA/GAL Program. DSHS Children Services has also been a crucial partner identifying children for which our support is appropriate as well as assisting with distribution. This, together with funding from Organizations like United Way, has enabled us to maximize our volunteer support and community contributions.
